Gas is not a punk band, kind of... but they are outsiders from New Zealand (is every band from New Zealand so insane?) for sure, and a very special 7” this is. It’s like Cole from Black Lips wrote these songs when he was high on commercial duster and tricked these Kiwis into recording it for him because he was too fucked up to sing. It's more of a mini album than a 7" and I hope you love it.

Natural Child is one of my favorite bands of the moment. I’ve listened to the four songs of theirs I own about 8,000 times each and I love them dearly. They’re nice kids from Nashville who tour about two weeks every few months. They write amazing songs. They offer a brand of trendy lo-fi blues punk that no one else is doing at the moment. They’ve barely recorded anything and they’re super new yet they’ve scored gigs as badass as opening for the Strange Boys and Black Lips. Hopefully some woebegone corporate investor/hipster/Catholic-guilt-ridden-sumbitch out there reads this, downloads the music and then, to make up for the raping of the world he/she has begrudgingly taken part in, decides to give them thousands of dollars so they can quit their day jobs and hit the road like the real men they are... thus finally doing their part in making the world a better place for once.
